Directions – Read Roth, S. & Klein, K. (n.d.). Finding Your Inner Fundraiser: A Self-Assessment Tool. Retrieved at, http://www.countyhealthrankings.org/sites/default/files/Finding-your-inner-fundraiser_self-assessment.pdf
After reading the above article write a 2-3 paged reflection explaining which type of fundraiser you perceive yourself to be: (1) direct asking, (2) selling, or (3) social gatherings. Select the one that fits you most, do not select more than one answer. Make sure you provide details from the article and chapters 4-6 to support your answers.
Next, answer the ten self-assessment questions and then tally your results. According to this assessment the type of fundraising activity you are likely most suited for is the one that has the most numbers circled. In 2-3 pages explain your thoughts on your results. Were your initial perceptions wrong, or right?
In addition, highlight what you are learning about yourself during the fundraising project. More specifically address your current activities with the organization and how your results on this assessment could be used to heighten your overall educational experience during this project. Please be aware this is not a recap of journal entry #1 however this reflection should correlate not only to your fundraising project, but also to this article, and chapters 4-6.
