This is still a continuation of the papers you have been writing. Please let me know if there are any questions. I have attached the past few papers in case you do not have copies of them.
Module Seven will be used to learn about and apply the concepts of intrapreneurship in your company. This is the opportunity to look back on the capabilities of the company that were identified earlier in the course and the strengths and weaknesses of the company that were identified in Module Four, and then look for opportunities within the company to expand. The capabilities of the company have to match the market opportunity that you see. For example, during the SWOT analysis in Module Four, “unique ERP programming skills” was identified as a strength of the company. An intrapreneurial initiative may be to “spin off” a segment of the workforce to create a separate entity to act as a possible startup new division, or even company under the parent company, to focus on ERP programming. The entity would be independent in some functions, such as its own market research and product development, but tied to the parent organization through legal ownership and financial operations.
Intrapreneurial opportunities are a very different path of development for some companies and must be considered as a possibility for any business development
initiatives. One assumption here is that the effort is internally driven from within the firm.
Prompt: Considering your assessment in Module Six on the capabilities and limitations of your company, identify and assess an intrapreneurial opportunity
within your company and assess its impact with respect to both the level of effort and resources needed and the potential benefits to the organization. Be sure to
consider the appropriate types of analysis discussed throughout this course.
Guidelines for Submission: Your paper must be submitted as a 3–5-page Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch
margins, and at least three sources cited in APA format.
